Hi and welcome to Pirouette Pantry!
I began baking at the young age of 4, alongside my mother. Since then, I have always loved baking, and creating little recipes. I also started watching baking shows when I was little and was always interested in watching what they did differently than what I’d seen done before.
Where did the name Pirouette Pantry come from? I wanted my blog name to have something important to me from my daily life, so I picked “pirouette” out of the rollerskating tricks and picked the name “pantry” for the baking part, to represent the many possibilities a good pantry gives, to create delicious dishes.
I remember putting rollerblades on one Christmas when I wasn’t tall enough to reach the kitchen counter just yet. That was how I made my very first batch of gingerbread cookies. Now I am tall enough and can even start this blog. Starting from the time, I was little, I remember always wanting to open my own bakery, so this is a small step towards that dream. I am excited to see where this step leads me and you as the reader.
Have a spinning time baking!
